WORSHIP
ME IN SILENCE
Come
close to me. Come closer. Worship me in the silence. Listen for my still
small voice. How can you hear when you are always distracted? My
children, even my children, are addicted to noise of one kind or
another, Have
you noticed how you always have on the television or radio, sometimes
even while you are talking on the phone? No wonder you are always
seeking and never finding. In
the silence you can find my peace. In the silence you can hear my voice.
In the silence you can respond to me instead of any other. In the
silence you can be humble before me. Shut
out all other voices and come to me in the silence. Do not be afraid of
the silence. It is my creation, too. In it you can know the vastness of
my universe and really know how small you are. In
the silence you can more fully feel my love for you. You are not small
in my eyes. You are the pearl of great price and I paid that price. You
are more valuable than fine gold. Seek
the silence where you can hear your own heart beat. It is there that I
will let you hear mine. Worship
me in the silence and I will surely meet you there. I will meet you and
show you how much I really care. So don’t fear the silence, but seek
it often and I will meet you there. Never again fear the silence for it
