Wanted

Uniquely made by God above

Created special for one to love.

Sometimes sweet and a heckuva find

Other times sassy and one of a kind

I put up high walls, when I get scared

Play dare devil tricks when I get dared

I only know how to give my all

My nature is passionate and that is my fall

I've been knocked on my butt many a time

Lied to, betrayed and left in a bind

but God made me tough and I won't quit

If I am faithful, His promises I'll get.

I am sure I'm a handful or so I have been told

but if you are good to me, my heart you will hold

be gentle and cherish it and you will find

I'll give you back your love a hundred times.

A Godly man is what I seek

A strong leader, yet one who can be meek

He must love kids with all of his heart

and be my best friend, never to part.

The love and passion we will share

Will be beyond all dreams and oh so rare.

God brought us together and all the pain we've bore

Will soon be forgotten as our love begins to soar

And through the years as we grow old

We'll never take for granted, the hand that we hold

We'll thank our Lord for everyday

For He kept His promises, in many a way.
