Prayer Room

What is prayer?  It's quite simple, it's a conversation with the Creator.  A chance to share with Him issues in your everyday life. A time to ask for faith, strength, healing, hope, understanding and any other needs or desires that you may have.  Prayer is also an opportunity to praise and worship our Lord. A time to give thanks for all that He is and all that He has done for you.  Prayer is something that can be done anytime and not necessarily just in a time of need. Prayer is as important to your spiritual walk with the Lord, as breathing is to your physical body.  The following prayers are written by many of our brothers and sisters in Christ.  These prayers may touch your heart and speak what you are feeling or going through. They are written to encourage or inspire those that are reading them, so that you may know you are not walking this path alone.

Prayer is the soul's sincere desire,
Unuttered or expressed;
The motion of a hidden fire
That trembles in the breast.

Prayer is the burden of a sigh,
The falling of a tear,
The upward glancing of the eye
When none but God is near.

The love of God surrounds us
Like the air we breathe around us --
As near as a heartbeat,
As close as a prayer,
And whenever we need Him
He'll always be there.
