Dear
Heavenly Father:
Holy,
Holy, Holy are You, Lord, worth of all glory and honor!
NOTHING is impossible to You, NOTHING is beyond your power, NOTHING
compares with Your love! The miles or the continents between us do not limit you!
My
special prayer just now is for You to draw near and shelter my dear one beneath
the shadow of Your wings, as a hen protects her chicks, and covers them with her
feathers. I ask You to be a strong
tower and a mighty fortress of protection!
I
ask You, Lord, to expose and subdue those who would kill and destroy innocent
people, even their own countrymen and my dear one, who has gone to war to free
that country of tyranny and terror. Cause
them to be found out before they can harm others.
I ask Your special protection and direction for
My
loved one. I release my child to
your care and I humbly thank You, that you love us and want us to ask You and to
cast our care upon You.
And
Father, I ask, that not only will my child be in Your care, but every soldier
and sailor, every special force, all the way up to our Commander and Chief. Draw
each one to Yourself and turn this thing to Your glory that something good can
come from so much heartache and discomfort.
I
ask comfort now for all who have lost a dear one, or been injured, and for those
of that land, who have had only heartache. Give each them courage, Lord and let them know that You love
them.
By
Your Grace help this war on terror to be won, and liberty given to this people
to rule themselves and not be victims of abuse from their leaders but have
freedom and wisdom elect good men and women to lead. And Lord, leave there in that land, your footprint, that all
will know of your Love. This prayer
I ask, in Jesus’ Name, because He said that could ask You.
And
for myself, Dear Lord, give me the good gift of peace and hope, and grace to
release this to You and rest. I
just want to sit here a few moments and feel Your Peace. Wrap me up in it and give me your Presence for a bit. Thank
you so very, very much.
