Just Wondering

Your Waiting Angel

I just wonder where you are.

Are you out there thinking of me?

Do you lie awake at night

and wish that we could be?

Do you wonder about the color of my eyes

my hair or even my scent?

Do you stare off longingly

and wish for just a hint?

Do you pray for me each night

and ask God to send me quick?

Are you waiting for me faithfully

and letting Him choose and pick?

Do you long to hold me in your arms

to kiss and caress my skin?

Do you long for the night, you can lay me down

and make me yours, again and again

I hope with all of my heart

that all of the above is true

because it is everything that I wish for

when I pray and wish for you
