Dear Father in heaven,

I come to you also as a father.

Lord there are times when being a dad is so overwhelming

Sometimes Lord I just lay in bed and the tears seem to go on forever

But Lord I know that you are watching over my children

Father I am so thankful for your watchful eye and your unconditional love

I pray that you will open the eyes of my children and allow them to see

satan as he really is.  As the one who would destroy them. The one who will tell them that doing drugs and drinking is cool.  The one who will come into their lives portraying the part of an innocent friend. The one who would lure them with sex telling them that this is a form of showing love for a boyfriend or girlfriend. Lord let your light shine upon the hearts of our children. Opening every door and letting your light shine into every dark place hidden deep within their hearts. Let them see you as you really are. Lord you are love, complete, unconditional, delivering, healing,

restoring love. Thank you Father for giving your son as the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness

of our sins.
