Letting God Lead Your Life

You do well to do my will. My will is not too hard for
you even though at first it seems difficult. It will bear for you
the peaceable fruits of righteousness.

You go from extreme enthusiasm to lethargy where you
just want to give up and do nothing. You must find and walk in
my flow for your life.

I gave you all that enthusiasm but your heart runs away
with you—yes even your physical heart.

You must know that I have the reigns and so let me
have them. I haven't asked you to accomplish all this by
yourself. I haven't asked you to race your motor either.

That isn't my way. You better learn it now. You must
walk in my peace. Even if you could accomplish more by your
ceaseless thinking and doing, you cannot carry the weight of
the calling I have given you. You will fall under the load.

My yoke is easy and my burden is light only when you
trust me in all circumstances. If you are trusting me, you will
be at rest. When you find yourself racing on the inside, stop
everything and get back in contact with me. This time you will
not be able to carry the weight that you've been able to carry
in the past. This is a lesson you must learn here and now.

Resting and rejoicing in me is the easy way. You can do
it. You are very close. Look in and listen. Wait on me and
renew your strength. My strength is made perfect in weakness
so don't worry about your weakness. You try to set your own
timetable. Look for mine.
