DIS—EASE
In quietness and trust will be your strength. it won’t be in a worrying,
wandering mind. Always seeking activity is dis-ease of the soul.
I want your soul and body to be at rest so that your spirit can be free
to hear from me.
I am not angry with you—yet—but you must discipline yourself to get
into my word everyday. You know how useless it is to just read it. You must
pray, study and mediate so I can shine the light of my word on your path.
You are not satisfied with the detailed Bible study that is not directed
by my spirit. I have places in my word that I want to take you but this is
when you must go with me alone.
It is not possible to have a personal conversation with the speaker
while he is speaking but I want to have a personal conversation with you in
my word every time you go there. I will lead you to sermons and teachers
from time to time if you will let me dote leading. Most. of the time,
however. I desire to lead you by my Spirit.
By faith and patience you must set aside a time to come to my word
every day. You eat every day don’t you? Then how can you expect your
spirit to be nourished on only occasional meals? You can’t get too much of
my revealed word. You can’t have too many meals or too many snacks. Just
as what you eat for your body affects whether it has energy or is sluggish so
does it affect your spiritual health.
When you go to my words on bended knee, you are really coming to
me and that too is an act of worship.
