I like it more when you come to me daily and wait than

when you try to make your own schedule, fearing that I do not

want to speak with you often. There is not a day that I don’t want

to tell you of my love.

Too often you don’t wait for my response when you tell me

you love me. It is only by receiving my love that you can know

what love really is.

It is not what you are receiving from people. Their love is

conditional and you always know when it is. You do not always

know that my love is unconditional. You think when you

don’t please me that I don’t love you.

I am showing you more love when I am disciplining you

then when I let you think all is well. My mercy is not my only

form of love, but that is all most of my children ask of me.

I want them to ask to be my friend, so that we can walk side

by side and share our thoughts. I love my infants, but I delight in

my mature ones that are not afraid to ask to walk with me.

My will is in my Word and that is when we can fellowship

together. It also is where I teach you and train you. Without my

Word you will never know me.  There I will let you know

my will, my plans, my thoughts and my heart.

There is treasure in my word for all of eternity and you can

begin enjoying eternity now.

Come to me and my word on a daily basis, not as a duty but

with the joy of visiting an old and treasured friend. You are my

treasure and I want to be yours.

I have created you in my image so have no fear that we

cannot walk in the most blessed friendship known to man. Ours is

a covenant friendship. Study that covenant and you will learn that I

am the covenant maker and the covenant keeper.
