Before You Go To Sleep
You think of yourself too much. What do you say to yourself
when you awake each
morning’? Is it “How do I feel today?” “Did
I get enough sleep?’
“What will I do’?” Don't consult your body.
your mind or your emotions.
Your body is at low ebb so you must he on guard or what
your body tells you will he
true the rest of the day. Many of my
people lose it right there.
They haven't guarded their mind from
this sense of indefinable
dread.
What you do just before you go to sleep is very important.
Do you fall asleep rehearsing
your problems or counting your
blessings’? You know to put
my word first place in your life but do
you make the last place at
night’?
The night is often a battlefield, because the works of darkness
cannot stand the light of
day.
Before you go to sleep. clear your conscience of even the
slightest offense and forgive
all who have offended you. Meditate
on my word or let a song rise
from your heart. Let yourself be
happy. Don’t take on
anybody’s problems but your own. Those are
the only ones you can give to
me.
I keep the night watch and I bring the dawn. Let yourself
awake with expectation of our
new day together.
